David Russell Strong, 37, son of Dearl Mack Johnson (deceased) and Vicki Dianne Prince, passed away Saturday, September 28th.
Born on July 17, 1976 in Union, he was an industrial welder and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Clinton.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Neal Strong; two daughters Makayla Strong and Layla Strong; brother Robert Strong of Gray Court; three sisters Lori Davis of Gray Court, Melanie Altman of Pickens, and Susan Gardner of Greenwood; four nieces and five nephews; as well as many boys who David mentored and took in as his own, who are now good men and fathers.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, October 3rd at Calvary Baptist Church, officiated by his uncle Rev. Rodger Gault and Rev. Don Peake.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the family to Calvary Baptist Church, 702 N. Sloan St., Clinton, SC 29325, in memory of David Strong.
