Devon Houston Reid

Devon Houston Reid, age 25, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 2, 1995 in Newberry, SC and was a graduate of Whitmire High School Class of 2013. He was an avid gamer and true pet lover.
He is survived by his parents, Melody Reid Martin and James L. Martin; his brother, Gabriel Martin of the home; his two half-sisters, Monquisha Whitmore and Mydeja Whitmore both of FL.
He is predeceased by his grandmother Wanda Gail Reid and his great-grandmother, Gussie Lawson.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 3 PM at the Master’s Baptist Church with burial to take place at Whitmire Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 2:45 PM at the church.
The family request that you please wear a mask and social distance if you are planning to attend the service.
Memorials should be made in Devon’s memory to your local Animal Shelter.
