Dianna C. Bowers

Dianna C. Bowers, age 65 of 7149 Hwy. 56 South died Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the Self Regional Hospital.
She was born in Newberry and was a daughter of Gladys Hipp Corley Gilliam of Clinton and the late Thomas Allen Corley, Sr.
Mrs. Bowers graduated from Columbia College and received a Masters Degree from the University of South Carolina. She was a licensed nursing home administrator.
She was retired from Whitten Center and was active in the Laurens County Community Theater. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Laurens County Special Needs Foundation.
Surviving are her husband, Ray Bowers of the home; a son, John B. Clements of Joanna; and a sister, Lisa Marie Corley of Greenville.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas Allen Corley, Jr. and Charles Fincher Corley.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Mrs. Gladys Gilliam at Bailey Manor in Clinton.
