Dianne Sherfield Barker

Dianne Sherfield Barker, age 64, the widow of Johnny Barker, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the NHC of Laurens.
She was born in Laurens County and was a daughter of the late Billy Eugene and Nellie Burch Sherfield.
Mrs. Barker was a CNA at NHC of Clinton for 32 years and was a member of the Lydia Mill Church of God.
She is survived by her son, Adam Barker of Clinton; her daughter, Amy Young of Waterloo; her brothers, Roger Sherfield of Clinton, Tommy Sherfield of Mountville, Donny Sherfield of Laurens, Bobby Sherfield of Clinton; her sister, Debra Sherfield of Clinton; and her eleven grandchildren, Diamond, Megan, Cameran, Taylor, Nathan, Macayle, Madison, Blake, Tia, Devin, and Kyle.
In addition to her husband she is predeceased by her son, Andy Barker; her two brothers, Steve and Billy Jo Sherfield; and her sister, Patricia Sherfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27 at 2 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton, the family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Rosemont Cemetery.
