Donald Wayne Baker, Sr., age 66, of Whitmire, SC, passed away January 8, 2013 at his home after an extended illness.
He was born in Laurens Hospital on August 13, 1946 to John Milton Baker and Gracie Mae Baker (Giles). He was predeceased by his parents and his late wife, Linda Shinall Baker.
Donald was a retired welder and worked in construction the majority of his life.
Donald was survived by his four children, LaDonna (Scott) Dickert, Donnie (Jennifer) Baker, all of Whitmire, Kimberly (James) Gault of Gaston, SC, and Tina (Bill) Griffin of Silverstreet. He had 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
