Donald Wayne Burton Sr.

Donald Wayne Burton, Sr. age 70, of 302 Pelican Harbor Drive, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 in Newberry County.
He was born in Kings Mountain, N.C. and was a son of the late Bonnie T. Burton and Leona Huffstetler Anthony.
Mr. Burton was retired from the Eaton Corporation in Greenwood and was a member of the Cross Hill Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of Bethabara Baptist Church and a former Deacon of First Baptist Church of Cross Hill. Mr. Burton was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran serving in Vietnam. He loved to deer hunt and fish.
Surviving are his wife, JoAnn Chapman Burton of the home; four sons, Shane Burton , Donald Wayne Burton II and Ryan Burton, all of Vale, N.C., and Zeddie Reaves Shull, III, of the home; a daughter, Sabrina Ann Shull of Belmont; four grandchildren, Steven Chase Burton, Adrian Burton, Lukas Kyle Burton and Harlie Bryanna Burton; a brother, Adrian Anthony of Shelby, N.C.; and a sister, Debbie Donavon of Shelby, N.C.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Bethabara Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
