Donald G. (The Mail Man) Mcwatters

Donald G. (the mail man) McWatters, age 67 of Lovers Lane Road, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in Whitmire.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late William David and Flonnie Osborne McWatters.
Mr. McWatters was retired from the US Postal Service; was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, Magnolia Masonic Lodge, Hejaz Shrine Club and Good Fellows. He also was a US Marine Veteran and retired from the SC National Guard.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina M. Gray (Danny) of Whitmire; his sister, Mary Elizabeth McWatters Stroud of Laurens; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sybil Willis McWatters and a son, Troy McWatters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Whitmire with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
