Donald (Donnie) Burroughs, age 48, Husband of Jody Hart Burroughs died peacefully at his home Saturday, November 10, 2012 .surrounded by his beloved wife and family.
Born January 28, 1964 in Clinton South Carolina, he was the son of Joyce Padgett and the late Hoyt Lee Burroughs.
He was survived by his wife, a daughter, Brittany Dial of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Danny Burroughs of Laurens and David Burroughs (Lisa) of Clinton; sister, Ann Nelson of Clinton and half sister Brenda Burroughs of Clinton; a granddaughter, Kennedy Quinn of Phoenix, AZ; four nieces and nephews, Kaylin Freeman, Delayna Burroughs, Tyler Nelson and McKenzie Nelson; Two beloved pets, Thurston and Lilly.
Donnie was an employee of BMW Manufacturing Plant until his illness forced him to retire.
Donnie fought a long and courageous battle with liver disease.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.
