Donald Lee Farmer, Sr.

Donald Lee Farmer, Sr., age 69 of 15 West Marion Rd. and formerly of Joanna died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late Grover and Ethyleen McSwain Farmer.
Mr. Farmer was an electrician and member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans 16th Regiment.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Duckett Farmer of the home; a son, Donald Lee Farmer, Jr. and wife, Jan of Greenville; a step-daughters, Patti Medford of Clinton and Susan Lindler and husband, Gary of Whitmire; step-sons, David Glenn and wife, Delores of Whitmire and Ricky Glenn and wife, Oky in the U.S. Army; 10 grandchildren and one sister, Kay Gibson and husband, Ed of Whitmire.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Heaton.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, May 27th at 4:00 p.m. at the Whitmire Cemetery by Rev. Eddie Bledsoe and Rev. Terry Wilkerson.
