Don Gary Simpson

Don Gary Simpson, age 71 formerly of 103 Church Street, passed away Thursday, August 30th at the NE Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.
He was born in Anderson, SC and was a son of the late Paul Ricky and Gertha Anderson Simpson.
Mr. Simpson retired from stained glass work and was of the Baptist faith. He loved selling cars and tires in the Gray Court area. Mr. Simpson’s last wish was to say goodbye to all his Gray Court friends.
Surviving are a son, Gary Wayne Simpson of Gray Court; four daughters, Glenda Annette Duenas of Mexico, Viola Beaman of Gray Court, Tammy Annette Smith of Woodruff and Tracy Michelle Simpson of Gray Court; two brothers, Mike Simpson and wife, Florence of Cleveland, GA and Dewey Simpson and wife, Catherine of Epora, MS; eleven grandchildren, Clint Beaman, Amanda Beaman, Ashley Gonzalez, Brittany Montgomery, Elizabeth Montgomery, Tiffany Montgomery, Kayla Simpson, Chelsea Simpson, Kristie Simpson, Chas Phillips and Gary Wayne Simpson, Jr.; twelve great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Pee Wee Bowmon.
He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Annette Simpson; three brothers, Richard Simpson, Jimmy Simpson and Danny Ray Simpson; and a sister, Jeanette Simpson.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, September 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Gray Court City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
