Donna Emmers Whiteford

Donna Emmers Whiteford age 86 passed away Monday Sept.16th at the National Health Care of Mauldin.
She was born in Columbus, OH and was a daughter of the late Edison Albert and Iris Kent Emmers.
Mrs. Whiteford was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Also a former member of the Clinton Christian Women’s Club.
Surviving are one son, Ernest M. Whiteford, II and wife, Gale of Laurens; two daughters, Renee W. Underwood of Laurens, Sandy W. Tucker and husband, Tim of Taylors; five grandchildren; Ryan Tucker, Jamie Underwood, Christopher Underwood, Matthew Whiteford and Emily Whiteford; one brother, Harold Emmers and a sister, Marifrances Miller both of Ohio.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Whiteford was predeceased by two husbands, Ernest M. Whiteford of 48 years and Marvin Hicks of 4years, she was also predeceased by two brothers, Kent and Glenn Emmers of Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 19th at 11:00 a.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens with burial in the Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery in Cross Hill, SC.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Renee Underwood, 482 Tranquil Dr., Laurens, SC.
