Donnie Wayne Cooper

Donnie Wayne Cooper, age 71, of Clinton, SC passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital.
He was born July 24, 1950 in Clinton, SC and was a son of the late Sherman Cooper and Mary Frances Ballard Cooper.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Brenda Cooper; his daughter, Melissa Davis (Dwight Gregory) of Laurens; his son, Bobby Cooper, Sr. of Woodruff; his grandchildren, Jenna Cannady (Micheal), Cortney Wardell (Boogie), Bobby Cooper, Jr. (Karla), Hannah Quinn (Chance), Justin Cooper; his great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Abi, Kenzi, Lily, Baby Carver; his sister, Patricia Smith (Robert) and Teresa Fowler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Sherman Cooper, and a sister, Brenda Joyce Hanley (Roy), his daughter-in-law, Melissa Hollar Cooper.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11 AM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with burial to follow at the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 7 PM to 9 PM at the funeral home in Clinton and will be at the home of his granddaughter, Jenna, 8829 Neely Ferry Road, Laurens, SC 29360.
