Donnie Nelson Crowder

Donnie Nelson Crowder age 60 of 1191 Penland Rd. died Sunday, Feb. 12th at his home.
He was born in Laurens and was a son of the late Clayton Frank and Eva Mae Gregory Crowder.
Mr. Crowder retired from Timken after 40 years of service, was a member of the Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church and had served in the National Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy Penland Crowder of the home; two sons, Donnie Ray Crowder and his wife Anita of Laurens, Christopher Dale Crowder and his wife Nicole of Williamston, SC; three brothers, Clifford Crowder and wife Barbara of Laurens, Eddie Crowder and wife Angie of Laurens, Jerry Crowder and wife Sylvia of Port Orange, FL; two sisters, Jean Gwinn and husband Broadus of Laurens, Janice Hames and husband Boyd of Laurens and three grandchildren, Taylor Crowder, Wil Crowder and Dylan Finley.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 14th at 3.00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with burial in the Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. before service at the funeral home.
