Doris Greene Hughey

Doris Greene Hughey, age 93, the widow of Hiram Hughey and formerly of 186 Cypress St, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Green Pond, SC and was the daughter of the late Harvey and Mabel Greene, she was a former member of Bethabara Baptist Church and a member of Lydia Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hughey is survived by her three daughters, Mabel Boozer of Joanna, Patty Meeks (Thomas) of Clinton, and Jacki Ellis (Andy) of Clinton; a son-in-law, Earl Cabaniss; 13 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by three daughters, Martha Ann Hazel, Nancy Cabaniss, and Judy Heflin; and a granddaughter, Debra Wilbanks.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton, the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM before the service at Gray Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Jacki Ellis, 606 S Broad St, Clinton, SC 29325.
