Doris Burdette Eidson, age 84, formerly of Bull Hill Road, Gray Court, SC and widow of David H. Eidson, died Thursday June 9, 2011 at National Healthcare Center of Laurens.
She was the daughter of the late Willie Wales and Nina Lee Glenn Burdette of Laurens. Mrs. Eidson graduated from Pembroke State University and was a member of Bramlett United Methodist Church of Gray Court, SC.
She was predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters, IV Burdette, Allen Burdette, Rhett Burdette, J.C. Burdette, Earl Burdette, Wallace Burdette, William Burdette, Frances Burdette, Martha Finley, Mary Sue Howard, and Mildred Williams. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews to include great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday June 11, 2011 at 11:00am at Bramlett United Methodist Church Gray Court, SC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of Bramlett United Methodist Church 2043 Bramlett Church Road, Gray Court, SC 29645-3719.
