Dorothy Jo "Dodie" Anderson

Dorothy Jo “Dodie” Anderson, age 47, of Jefferson St., passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at her home.
She was born January 23, 1973, in Clinton, South Carolina, and was a daughter of Dorothy Williams Anderson and the late Joseph Vernon Anderson, Sr. Ms. Anderson was a graduate of Clinton High School.
In her spare time, Ms. Anderson enjoyed diamond art, reading, listening to music, but she particularly enjoyed Christian comedian/ singer Mark Lowery.
Ms. Anderson attended Elizabeth Street Church of God for the better part of her young life. She always spoke of how she cherished her memories and time spent there.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Deidre N. Anderson of Columbia, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that she loved dearly.
In addition to her father, Ms. Anderson was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Vernon Anderson, Jr., her grandparents, Vernon and Helen Williams and Homer and Mable Anderson.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
