Dorothy Mae Pennington Scott

Dorothy Mae Pennington Scott, age 76, of 128 Rabon Road, passed away Thursday, March 16th, 2017.
She was born in Barksdale, SC, and was a daughter of the late George and Sara Lena Cisson Pennington.
Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God. She was a precious wife, mother, and Nanny.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Walter Scott of the home; her son, Kevin Scott and wife, Sherry of Laurens; her daughter, Paula McKellar and husband, Keith of Laurens; two grandchildren, Jessica Tarver and husband, Matthew and Austin McKellar, both of Laurens; and four sisters, Louise Owens, Ellen Robertson, Jean Jones, all of Laurens, and Sara Hill of Gray Court;
Mrs. Scott was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Monday, March 20th, at 3 PM. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 3 PM before the graveside service.
The family wishes to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the staff of Laurens County Hospice for the wonderful care, love and support they provided for Mrs. Scott.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Paula McKellar, 116 Vern Cora Road, Laurens, SC 29360.
