Dorothy Foster Trammell

Dorothy Foster Trammell age 88 widow of George H. “Jeter” Trammell passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Gastonia, NC and was a daughter of the late Samuel Columbus and Bessie Mae Primm Foster.
Mrs. Trammell was retired from Belk and a member of Davidson St. Baptist Church where she had served in the Nursery, as Sunday School Secretary and a member of the WMU.
Surviving are her daughter, Elaine Powell of Clinton; a sister, Martha Watts of Clinton; grandson, John Baughn (DeDe) of Laurens and three great grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, and Benjamin.
In addition to her parents and husband is predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Baughn; brothers, Harvey Foster, Harry Foster, Paul Foster, Hoyle Foster, Lloyd R. Foster, Charlie Foster, Richard D. Foster, and sister: Laura Burns.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 14th at 3:00 PM in the Davidson St. Baptist Church by Rev. Kenny Moore with burial at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
