Dorothy Bragg Gaffney

Dorothy Gaffney, age 87, of Agapé Nursing Home, West Columbia, died Monday after a period of declining health. She was the widow of Charles Mack Gaffney. She was born in Spartanburg County and was the daughter of the late Laurence and Irene Bragg. Mrs. Gaffney was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church and was retired after holding a variety of jobs in the Clinton area, most recently as receptionist at Bailey Manor. She was pre-deceased by her only son, Charles Mack Gaffney, Jr. and two brothers, Bill and Pete Bragg. Mrs. Gaffney is survived by some cousins and some special friends. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery.
