Dorothy L. Sweatman of 510 Peninsula Dr. died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Kutztown, PA and was the last surviving member of her birth family.
Surviving are her husband of over 50 years, Donald E. Sweatman of Laurens and a daughter Dottie J. Lasher of Anderson.
She was a retired registered nurse who specialized in pediatrics and served in that capacity for over 40 years.
She was a loving, kind, compassionate and understanding Christian woman to her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
At her request she will be cremated and a private family only service will be held.
