Dorothy Marr Holliday

Dorothy Marr Holliday, age 64, of 3075 Trinity Church Road and widow of Marshall Holliday passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Clay County, NC and was the daughter of the late William Allen and Anna Sherlin Marr.
Mrs. Holliday retired from Timken Bearing Company, was a member of the Welcome Baptist Church and was a volunteer with Hospice of Laurens County.
She is survived by three daughters, Angie Simmons and husband, Keith, Melissa Thomason and husband, Tom and Renna Norris and husband, Rick all of Laurens; one brother, John Marr and wife, Bernice of Hayesville, NC and grandchildren, Megan Simmons, Wes and Allison Taylor, Brandon and Jonathan Norris and Ben and Bailey Thomason.
She was predeceased by a brother, Larry Marr of Black Mountain, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Feb 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the Welcome Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home in Laurens.
