Dorothy R. Barnes of 105 East Ferguson Street, Clinton, died Friday, October 27th at her home.
She was born in Laurens County and was a daughter of the late William C. and Ethel Crain Robinson.
Mrs. Barnes received her Masters Degree from Clemson University and worked in the family business until her retirement.
She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Clinton for more than forty years where she taught Sunday School.
She is survived by one sister, Geneva Robinson of the home; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Barnes was predeceased by her husband, Harley R. Barnes who died in 1970; three brothers; and two sisters.
Graveside services will be held at Rosemont Cemetery Saturday, October 28th at 11:00 a.m.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
