Durrell “Dee” Edgar Samples, age 71, of 2400 Scurry Island Rd in Chappells, SC passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
He was the son of the late Wilford and Bessie Quinn Samples.
He is survived by his daughter, Becky Fowler (David) of Fountain Inn; his brother, Paul Samples; two grandchildren, Dusty Fowler (Terra) and Amber Smith (Levi); and his great-grandchildren, Alyssa Fowler, Dixie Fowler, Hunter Smith and Serenity Smith.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Smokey Samples, Sammy Samples and Furman Samples.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16th at 3 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service, from 1:30 to 3 PM at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Becky Fowler, 213 Wagon Court, Fountain Inn, SC.
