Dwight L. Tucker

Dateline-Joanna, SC

Dwight L. Tucker, age 70, of Goldville Rd., passed away March 19th at the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Joanna, SC and was a son of the late Clifton and Louise Bedenbaugh Tucker.
Mr. Tucker was a retired employee of both 3M of Laurens and General Electric. He was the owner of the What Not Shop in Joanna and attended the Break Through Tabernacle Church in Joanna. Mr. Tucker was a US Army veteran, a member of the 1950 Little League World Series Team and an avid sports fan.
Surviving are one son, Tyler Tucker of and one daughter, Daphne Tucker both of Joanna; two grandchildren, Madison Tucker and Derrec Becker; one brother, Dallas Tucker of Clinton and two sisters, Avanell Morris of Atlanta, GA and Judy Tucker Hunnicutt of Joanna.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Clifton Tucker, Jr. and Lee Add Tucker, Sr.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Mar. 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the Breakthrough Tabernacle Church in Joanna by Rev. Kyle Knight.
