Earl Finney of 613 Evans St. and widow of Maggie Finney died Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in the Wallace Thomson Hospital in Union.
He was born in Hartford, TN and was a son of the late Joe Henry and Matilda Ellison Finney.
Mr. Finney was retired from J.P. Stevens and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Surviving are one son, Roger Finney of Whitmire; two grandchildren, Donald Finney, Jr. and Rhonda McDaniel both of Whitmire; three great grandchildren, Tyler McDaniel, Lindie McDaniel and Michael Hatchell. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Finney, Sr..
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, Sept. 14th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
