Earline Meadors Ficklin

Earline Meadors Ficklin age 81 of 106 Washington St. died Saturday, Sept. 15th after a brief illness.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late James C. and Kate Watkins Meadors.
Mrs. Ficklin was retired from Clinton Mills and was the longest attending member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, D. D. Ficklin; four sons, Mike Ficklin, Tommy Ficklin, Barry Ficklin, all of Clinton, Gary Ficklin of Greenwood, two daughters, Kathy Holmgreen of Travelers Rest, Melissa Carlay of Laurens; two brothers, Bobby Meadors and Charles Meadors both of Clinton; three sisters, Louise Armstrong of Columbus, Miss., Ruby Lanford and Anne Bagwell both of Clinton; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, James M. Meadors and a sister, Ellen Meadors.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 18th at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Melissa Carlay, 210 W. Farley Ave., Laurens.
