Earnest Calvin Lark
Earnest Calvin Lark, age 80, of 317 Hazel Dr. died Sunday, March 17, 2013 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Pickens and was the son of the late Calvin Lorenzo and Ardena Bell Lark.
Mr. Lark was retired from the Torrington Bearings Company after 25 years, was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Laurens and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Staggs Lark of the home; two sons, Steve Calvin Lark of North Augusta and Daniel Lorenzo Lark of Duluth, GA; two sisters, Rita Faye Lawson of Laurens and Bobbie Jean Franklin of Clinton; 6 grandchildren, Steven Joseph Lark, Amiee Nicole Lark, Jordan Elizabeth Lark, Ryan Christopher Lark, Nicholas Beau Lark and Robert George Heusel; 2 great grandchildren, Caleb Lark and Chandler Bartley.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
