Edgar Leroy Dean, age 73 of 1208 N. Sloan St., widow of Juanita Dean, died Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Clinton and was a son of the late Leroy and Geneva Leopard Dean.
He was retired from Kaywood Co. in Joanna.
Surviving are a grandson, Bryson Vaughn of Clinton, a niece, Elizabeth and William Vaughn of Clinton and a brother, Eugene (Ankie) Dean of Newberry, step-grandson, Allen Falls of Newberry.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Cemetery in Clinton by Rev. Jackie Bragg.
