Edgar Allen Cooper, Jr.

Edgar Allen Cooper, Jr., age 85 formerly of 519 Sims Street, and widower of Virginia King Cooper, died Monday, Oct. 4th at Riverside Living Center, Piedmont, SC
He was born in Enoree and was a son of the late Edgar Allen Cooper, Sr. and Ruth Blanton Cooper.
He was retired from J. P. Stevens and was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitmire.
Surviving are two daughters, Judi Anderson and Tami Cooper both of Piedmont; two brothers, Gary and wife, Mary Ann Cooper of Anderson and Don Cooper of Hartwell, GA.; two sisters, Peggy Heller of Pelzer and Teresa Cape of Anderson, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife and his stepmother, Alice W. Cooper, one sister and one brother.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 7th at 2:30 p.m. at Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Whitmire.
