Edgar (Ed) Burkhalter

Edgar (Ed) Burkhalter, age 67, of 2125 Nance St. died Thursday, August 23rd at his home.
He was born in Newberry and was the son of the late Jessie and Sarah Finney Burkhalter.
Mr. Burkhalter is survived by two brothers, Bobby Burkhalter and his wife, Ellen of Newberry and Ronald Burkhalter; his wife, Frankie of Greenville; also a number of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters-in-law, Mary Frances and Helen Burkhalter and two brothers, Walter and Eugene Burkhalter.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 27th at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.
