Edith Janet Cogsdill

Janet Cogsdill, age 76, wife of Fred E. Cogsdill, of 5159 Hwy 221 South passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
Edith Janet Cogsdill was born in Laurens on October 23, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Samuel P. and Edith Clayton Hellams formally of Laurens, she was retired from the Laurens County Speedway after 31 years.
Mrs. Cogsdill is survived by her husband, Fred of the home; their son, Michael W. Cogsdill, her twin grandsons, Camden and Camron Cogsdill; her granddaughter, Arrionna Cogsdill all of Laurens; a brother Tommy Hellams and sister-in-law Lynne of Waterloo; a niece, Kim Stoddard and husband Tim of Fountain Inn; two nephews, Zachory Stoddard and wife Meagan of Fountain Inn and Taylor Stoddard and wife Christian of Laurens.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens. The family will receive friends before the service at 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
