Edith Lorraine Brown Avery age 71 of 43 Imperial Drive, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
She was born in Davidson County, NC and was a daughter of the late Thomas Paul and Mildred Gibbs Brown.
Mrs. Avery was a retired nurse.
She is survived by a son, Ray Hamilton of Rock Hill, SC; three daughters, Larrisa Williams of Clinton, Rebecca Edwards of Chandler, TX, and Ramona Weeks of Waynesville, NC; a sister, Barbara Merck of Clinton; nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with burial in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
