Effie Starnes Medlin

Effie S. Medlin, age 73, formerly of Elizabeth Street, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 at NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Willie and Ruby Dorn Starnes.
Mrs. Medlin was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Laurens.
She is survived by her husband, Starlin Medlin of the home; her son, Tony Medlin of Spartanburg; her daughter Sharon M. Taylor of Laurens and Lisa D. Lee of Clinton; her half brothers and sisters, Ellen Walters, Billy Starnes, Judy Starnes and Patricia Starnes; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 7th at 2 PM at New Beginnings Church of God of Prophecy.
The family will be at the home of Sharon Taylor, 4870 Torrington Road, Laurens, SC 29360.
