Elaine "Squeaky" Erskine Kidd

Elaine "Squeaky" Erskine Kidd, age 73, of Whitmire, widow of William "Billy" Richard Kidd, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born December 20, 1948 in Whitmire, SC and was a daughter of the late Williet Reed Erskine, Sr. and Nellie Beatrice Riddle Erskine. Mrs. Kidd retired from the textile industry as a supervisor and is a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church in Whitmire.
Mrs. Kidd is survived by her daughters, Vonda K. Hunt of Whitmire, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Kenneth) Brown of Whitmire; her five grandchildren, Joshua Weber, Dawn Marie Weber, Brianna Brown (Jimmy Runions), Kristen D. Hunt, J. Kyle Hunt; her six great-grandchildren, Tanner Runions, Tucker Runions, James D. Bondeson, Jianna Runions, Kyler Pressley, Vivian Runions; her brother, Dale Erskine; Sister and Brother in laws, Daisy Bullard, Dan and Dianne Stroud, and Clara Kidd Wallace Special niece, Lisa Erskine Malpass.
In addition to her husband and her parents she was predeceased by, her daughter Dawn Michelle Kidd; her siblings, Williet R. Erskine, Jr. "Bugs" and Lois Ann O'Donald; and two Brother in laws, John Edward Kidd and James Calvin Kidd.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, February 7, 2022 at Heritage Wesleyan Church in Whitmire. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:00 PM at the church. The family has requested that anyone planning to attend to please wear a face covering and follow CDC guidelines for social distancing.
