Eldora Mitchum Bible, age 84, of 391 Smith Road, and widow of Earl E. (Red) Bible, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015.
She was born in Berkley County and was a daughter of the late Walter and Julia Phillips Mitchum.
Mrs. Bible retired from Anderson Hosiery Plant in Clinton. She was a member of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church and a volunteer for the Federation of the Blind.
She is survived by two brothers, James T. Mitchum of Kenly, NC, Relma Mitchum of Clinton, and one sister Elizabeth Wyndham of Monks Corner.
She is predeceased by her siblings Walter F. Mitchum, Harold T. Mitchum, Russell Mitchum, Paul Mitchum, Fulton Mitchum, Ed Mitchum; and two sisters, Ethel Amerson and Snokie Mitchum.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015, at 3 P.M., at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens, with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the graveside.
