Elizabeth Briggs

Elizabeth Briggs age 93, widow of Robert Briggs died Friday, October 30, 2009 in the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Mrs. Briggs was retired from Thomason’s Jewelers and was a member of
Laurens First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of DAR and the Laurens Garden Club.
She is survived by a son, Bill Briggs of Isle of Palms, SC; a daughter, Beth Dickerson and husband, Rick of Pelzer; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Briggs was predeceased by two sons, Bob Briggs and Dickie Briggs.
Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, November 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the Laurens City Cemetery.
