Elizabeth W. Cooke, age 92, formerly of 306 West Farley Ave, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017, at NHC of Laurens.
She was born in Kinston, NC, and was the daughter of Oliver Allen and Ella Westbrook. She was retired after 60 plus years as an R.N.
Mrs. Cooke is survived by her children, Leslie Anne Griffin of Boiling Springs, SC, Beth Cooke Brewer of Laurens, Leslie James “Jim” Cooke, Jr. and wife, Lori, of Boling Brook, IL, Robert Charles Cooke and wife, Cindy, of Boiling Springs, SC, and Elizabeth Cooke Rodriguez of Orlando, FL; her nine grandchildren, Todd Sellers, Michele Keller, Crystal Brewer Senn, Jay Cooke, Robbie Cooke, David Cooke, Catherine Cooke, Savanna Cooke, and Jessica Rodriguez; and her seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother, Oliver Westbrook, Jr; her sister, Nancy Whitt; and her grandson, Chad Cooke.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 4 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, June 4, 2017, from 6 to 8 PM, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Westview Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home located at 103 Downs St, Laurens, SC 29360.
