Elizabeth A. Simons, age 96 of Presbyterian Home died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008.
She was born in Guatemala, Central America and was a daughter of the late Rev. Richard S. and Maude Watson Anderson.
She was a former registered nurse; a member of the Rosemont Garden Club and of the First Presbyterian Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Locke V. Simons.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Locke Simons of Inman and one sister, Catherine Burchfield of Piqua, Ohio.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Waterloo Community Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Home Chapel by Dr. Joe Gettys.
The family will receive friends after the memorial service at Presbyterian Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Waterloo Cemetery Fund, 323 Dillard Rd., Waterloo, SC 29384 or Presbyterian Home, 801 Musgrove St., Clinton, SC 29325.
