Elizabeth L. Floyd

Elizabeth L. Floyd, age 76 of 109 South Ellis St. Apt. B died Friday, April 8th at her home.
She was born in Joanna, SC and was a daughter of the late Harley and Jessie Kennington Lyons.
Mrs. Floyd worked with several mills in the textile industry until her retirement. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and played the piano for most of the churches that she attended.
Surviving are her husband, Gene Floyd of the home; four children, Charlotte Bolt and husband, Larry of Clinton, Wanda Moore of Joanna, Denise Elder of Laurens and Tony Osborne and wife, Sherri of Laurens; one sister, Mary Smith of Fountain Inn; ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one step daughter, Diane Brooks and three sisters, Margaret Owens, Rachel Fellers and Audrey Dent.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, April 10th at 3:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens, the family will greet friends following the service.
