Elizabeth R. Smith

Elizabeth Smith, age 65 of 925 Central Ave. died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at her home.
She was born in Whitmire and was a daughter of the late Talmadge and Edna Taylor Rhodes.
Mrs. Smith was a former employee of J.P. Stevens, Regal and B. F. Hawkins Nursing Home. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and a devoted wife and mother.
Surviving are her husband, Lyman Smith of the home; one son, Andy Gary Smith of the home; one brother, Johnn E. Rhodes of Greenwood.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Oct. 3rd at 3:00 p.m. at the Whitmire Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Eddie Duncan with burial at the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the church.
