Ella "Lib" Hughes Snow

Dateline, Gray Court, SC;

Ella “Lib” Hughes Snow, age 76 of 4013 Georgia Rd. died Saturday, May 23rd at her home.
She was born in Laurens and was a daughter of the late Christopher and Eunice Lambert Hughes.
Mrs. Snow was retired from Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center and was a former employee of J. P. Stevens, Watts Plant.
Surviving are her husband, Armond D. Snow of the home; two sons, Thomas Crompton of Toccoa, GA, Arthur Crompton of Laurens; three daughters, Beverly Brannon of Greenville, Sharon Crompton of Travelers Rest, Janice Crompton of Gray Court; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Mrs. Snow was the last surviving member of her family and in addition to her ten brothers and sisters was predeceased by a son Raymond Eugene Crompton and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Westview Memorial Park.
The body will be taken to the home of her predeceased sister, Doris Pennington, 363 Fairgrounds Rd., Laurens on Monday where the family will receive friends.
