Ellen Blackwell Vincent

Ellen Blackwell Vincent, age 87, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Laurens County Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Ninety Six and was the daughter of the late Sherman and Lois Collins Blackwell.
Mrs. Vincent was a member of Elizabeth Street Church of God.
She is survived by her three sons, Ned “Tony” O. Vincent (Judy) of Laurens, Gary R. Vincent (Jackie) of Joanna and Michael W. Vincent (Debi) of Jacksonville NC; her six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sister, Ethel Blackwell Moore; her brother, Ralph “Jack” Eugene Blackwell; and her daughter-in-law, Reba Penland Vincent.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11 AM at the Elizabeth Street Church of God, with interment at Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 10 to 11 AM.
