Ellen “Lucille” Rice Tinsley
Ellen “Lucille” Rice Tinsley, age 83 of 3986 Shady Grove Church Road and widow of Hubert Tinsley, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at her home.
She was born in Little Mountain and was a daughter of the late James Wilburn and Beatrice Ellen Ownbey Rice.
Mrs. Tinsley was retired from Eastside Greenhouses and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Randy Tinsley of Thailand and Peter Tinsley of the home; one daughter, Ellen Tinsley of Fuquay Varina, NC; three brothers-in-law, Carroll Tinsley of Joanna, Robert Tinsley of Clinton and Henry Tinsley of Kinards; two sisters, Edna White of Columbia and Glennie Walker of Kinards; grandson, William Pugh and two great-grandchildren, McKensie and Naomi.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Myrtis Stroud and Mary B Tinsley.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 7th at 11:00 a.m. in Epworth United Methodist Church with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Church.
