Ellic “Eugene” Prince, age 60, of Cross Hill, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Born August 19, 1957, he was the first born child of Ellic William and Pauline Morgan Prince of Whitmire. He was a 1977 graduate of Whitmire High School and a pipefitter by trade. He is survived by his father Ellic Prince, a brother Jody Prince, two sisters Kathy Broome and Gwen Holbrook, and longtime companion Betty Spires. His siblings blessed him with five nieces and nephews: Crystal Prince, Jonathon Prince, Savannah Broome Beddingfield, William Holbrook, and Zane Holbrook. He also had six great-nieces and nephews he loved dearly. He was pre-deceased by his mother Pauline Morgan Prince and sister Patsy Seymore.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 4:00 in the afternoon at the Whitmire Cemetery. Gray Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
