Ellis C. Huffstetler, age 89, of 231 Lakewood Dr., died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Newberry and was a son of the late Charles S. and Mary Amick Huffstetler.
He retired from Torrington Bearing company; was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a US Navy Veteran. In his early years he played Textile League baseball.
Surviving are one grandchild, Anna Latiff (Sam), of Citrus Springs, Florida and two great grandchildren, Charlie and Ben Latiff. He was also survived by five nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary and his daughter, Cassandra (Sandy) Morgan; six sisters, and one brother.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, February 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. in Pinelawn Memory Gardens by Rev. David Edenfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1009 S. Broad St., Clinton, SC 29325
