Elma Keasler Tumblin age 90, widow of Homer Neal Tumblin, Sr. of 18740 Hwy. 101 died Tuesday, Feb. 14th at her home.
She was born in Anderson, SC and was a daughter of the late Jerry Henry and Lydia Mae Greer Keasler.
Mrs. Tumblin retired from the Hickory Tavern Sportswear and was a member of the Henderson Baptist Church in Hickory Tavern.
Surviving are a son, Homer Neal Tumblin, Jr. and wife Rita of Hickory Tavern; two daughters, Diane Tumblin Murdock and husband Jackie of Laurens, Jean Tumblin Parsons and the late Henry Parsons of Lake Greenwood; six grandchildren, Jason Parsons and Pam Davis of Lanford, Shannon and Andrea Parsons of Chappells, Hollie Parsons Davenport and Wilton of Laurens, Jon Murdock and Tanya of Hickory Tavern, Angie Tumblin Crisp and Adam of Lanford, Josh Tumblin of Hickory Tavern; seven great grandchildren, Tyler and DeAnna Murdock, Alexus and AudreyAnna Davenport, Benjamin and Mason Parsons and Tyler Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Feb. 17th at 3:00 p.m. in the Henderson Baptist Church of Hickory Tavern with burial in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home, 18740 Hwy 101, Hickory Tavern.
