Emily Bonds Fallaw, age 70, wife of Paul R. Fallaw of 18078 Hwy. 56 North passed away March 4, 2008 at the St. Francis Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born in Fountain Inn, SC on June 11, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Jimmie Lee and Hattie Davis Bonds.
Paul & Emily have lived in Clinton the past 28 years and prior to that lived in Lockhart. Emily was employed by Union County Schools until her retirement after the birth of her twins.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Mary Frances Fallaw of Pelham, AL, Bobbi Rae Fallaw of the home, Linda Rumsey of Surfside Beach, SC; one sister, Doris Bonds Jaynes of Waynesville, NC and one brother, Joel E. Bonds of Montgomery AL.
Emily was predeceased by one sister, Frances Lee Bonds.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Mar. 6th at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Cross Anchor where she had been a member for the past 27 years. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
The family will be at the home 18078 Hwy. 56 North, Clinton, SC.
