Ervin (Snag) Bodie

Ervin (Snag) Bodie, age 73, of 509 Sims Street, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 in the Laurens County Hospice House.
He was born in Kinards, and was a son of the late Jesse and Estelle Shealy Bodie.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda King Bodie, of the home; two sons, Kenneth (Heather) Bodie, and Clay (Annette) Bodie; three daughters, Donna (James) Harris, Elaine (Robert) Hyler, and Janeen (Mark) Toby; and five sisters, Beatrice Bobb, Marzell Free, Agatha Cook, Edna Neal, and Betty Kibler. He is survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Jack and Thomas Bodie; and two sisters, Virginia Morrow and Janet Hawkins.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 21st at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Whitmire, with burial in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
