Estelle Holmes Whisenant

Estelle Holmes Whisenant, age 91, formerly of Cross Anchor and widow of Louis Whisenant died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in the NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Spartanburg and was the daughter of the late John H. and Ella Machray Holmes.
Mrs. Whisenant was retired from Whitten Center and was the last member of her immediate family.
She is predeceased by a brother, W. G. Holmes and 9 sisters, Loree Waddell, Helen Gwinn Weaver, Vallie Callahan, Ruth Todd, Rosa Lee Oswalt, Frances Meeks, Louise Maddox and Mary Sue Holmes.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
