E. T. (Tony) Shouse

E. T. (Tony) Shouse, age 82, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at his home.
He was born in Greenville and was the son of the late Newman Alston Shouse, Sr. and Isabel Chase Shouse.
Mr. Shouse was a retired contractor and was a very active member and Elder Emeritus at the Whitmire Presbyterian Church. He was also an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Dale H. Shouse of the home; two sons, Alston Shouse and wife, Jo of Kinards and Ricky Shouse and wife, Sally of Clinton; two daughters, Susan Hunnicutt and husband, David and Kay Roche and husband, John of Whitmire; sister, Elizabeth Ann Pitts and husband, Chick of Clinton; grandchildren, Christina, Chase and Auston Shouse, Adam Hunnicutt, Brooke H. Lance, Corey, Eric and Seth Shouse, Galen Roche, Sheila R. Linton and Blake Roche; great grandchildren, Kaylynn Roche, Carter Lance, Brantlee Roche, Cruz Hunnicutt and Wren Shouse.
He was predeceased by a brother, Newman Alston Shouse, Jr.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is receiving friends at the residence.
